IMPORTANT VOLUNTARY SAFETY RECALL ADVISORY
This notice contains important information regarding your Splash-A-Round Pools Summer Breeze round pool model. Please read this voluntary safety recall notice in full.
Splash-A-Round Pools is conducting a voluntary safety recall for Summer Breeze round pool models sold in recent years. These pools include a belt that runs around the exterior of the pool wall. Splash-A-Round Pools is providing a belt loop retrofit kit that supports proper belt placement once the vertical support uprights are installed.
A child may attempt to use the belt as a foothold to gain access to the pool, which may increase the risk of unintended entry and could potentially lead to a drowning hazard. To address this safety concern, Splash-A-Round Pools is offering a free belt loop retrofit kit for all affected
Summer Breeze round pool models.
To determine whether this recall applies to your pool, confirm that your pool is a Summer Breeze round model with an exterior belt and vertical support uprights. If so, you may request your free retrofit kit. The retrofit kit includes belt loops and simple installation instructions.
Customers may request a retrofit kit by visiting your local dealer where you purchased the pool or by contacting Splash-A-Round Pools directly at www.splasharoundpools.com/recalls, sales@splasharoundpools.com, or calling (909) 980-7709. The retrofit kit is provided at no cost including shipping and handling.
In the interim, please ensure that children cannot access the pool unattended or, if that is not possible, drain the pool until the repair can be installed. In addition, customers should take precautions set out in CPSC’s Pool Safely Guidelines at www.poolsafely.gov to ensure that children cannot access the pool without parental supervision, including removing pool ladders and any other objects near the pool such as patio furniture or filter covers, an ensure required and recommended barriers are closed and locked.
If you no longer own your pool, no further action is needed.
